Featured Work
Hammond Scottish Festival
In addition to assisting with the physical setup and teardown of the festival, I serve as the digital and communications consultant for the Hammond Scottish Festival, hosted by the Hammond Historical Museum.
I manage the festival’s social media presence, create print and digital advertisements, produce promotional videos, handle information and communication management, and have built systems that keep the committee organized and running smoothly - including Google Drive setup, Gmail configuration, and streamlined ticket and raffle tracking.
What started as a passion project with my husband to serve our community together has grown into a real and visible local presence with over 400 Facebook followers and tens of thousands of views.
1:1 Career Coaching
I have personally coached individuals through every stage of the job search process - editing resumés, writing cover letters, preparing for interviews, and helping people communicate professionally and advocate for themselves with confidence.
Through multiple one on one sessions with each person I’ve supported them from exploring paths to first application to final offer. So far I’m proud to hold a 100% success rate - every person I’ve worked with has found a position that better suited them.
That’s not luck. That’s what happens when the right support meets the right person at the right time.
Digital Literacy & Technology Education
My love for technology started by age eight - and I quickly became the person everyone turned to for help. That passion never left. I built a career around it, and today I channel it into beginner-friendly digital literacy workshops for adults who want to feel more confident with everyday technology.
Through my Getting Connected: Digital Literacy for Everyday Life workshop series I meet people exactly where they are - with patience, clarity, and zero judgment.
